RRB JE Selection Process
Candidates are selected for the post of RRB Junior Engineer (RRB JE) through a multi-stage process. At each stage the knowledge, aptitude and health of the candidates are evaluated. The selection process for RRB Junior Engineer (JE) is in the following stages:
- CBT 1 Exam (Preliminary Exam): This is a screening test that tests candidates' general knowledge, math, and logical ability. Passing CBT 1 is mandatory, but its marks are not included in the final merit.
- CBT 1 Result: Merit list of successful candidates in CBT 1 is released, based on which they are invited for CBT 2.
- CBT 2 Exam (Main Exam): This main exam focuses on technical subjects and the marks obtained in it count towards the final selection.
- Final Result: A final merit list is prepared based on the performance in CBT 2.
- Document Verification: Selected candidates have to submit original copies of all required documents like educational certificate, birth certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar card etc.
