ITI Plumber Skills

• Problem solving skills: In plumbing work a plumber has to solve many types of problems like leakage, blockage, fitting, etc. for which the candidate must have problem solving skills.
• Physical stamina: In plumbing work a plumber has to install many heavy equipment, pipes and fixtures, and work in small spaces, the candidate needs to have physical stamina to do this work.

ITI Plumber Disadvantages

• Unpleasant conditions: Plumbing work often takes place in confined and narrow spaces such as under sinks, basements, crawl spaces or inside ceilings, filled with dirty water, bad odors and germs. Working in such tight spaces is physically tiring and uncomfortable. Sometimes they also pose risks to the plumber due to lack of proper ventilation and toxic gases.
• Irregular work: A plumbers work schedule is not fixed, this is because many times plumbing emergencies are needed. Sometimes a plumber has to work late at night, early in the morning, or even on weekends to deal with emergencies such as a pipe burst due to heavy rains, serious leaks, clogged drains, or a blocked drainage.
• Customer Availability: Plumbing is a service that is not a daily or regular need for customers. This means that plumbing work is only required when there is an issue with the plumbing system such as a burst pipe, leakage, or a clogged drain.
